Your knowledge and passion for the land and its inhabitants, and your understanding of their various inter-relationships showed up in your selection of routes for exploration. From the very beginning you pointed out the risks of finding wildlife and that luck was your best friend. It seems that unfortunately, Lady Luck was not always on our side.
Amazingly we spent four plus days with you (Joe) and never had any friction whatsoever, in spite of some very serious conversations.
