We offer private rafting and packrafting day trips as well as custom, multi-day adventures. Enjoy one of Denali’s wild, scenic waterways with a local guide.
Each trip is customized to your group’s interests and activity level, with options for “less splashy” Class I-III or “more splashy” Class III+. Minimum age 5+ for any rafting trip, 12+ for Class III+ experience.
We provide all gear (boat, paddle, PFD, drysuit, helmets, neoprene gloves).
Our raft trips are different. They are private or in the rafting world we say exclusive. Either way what we mean is that your river experience, whether it’s a two hour or four hour or a multi-day adventure is not a shared experience. It’s just you, your friends and or family and of course, our talented, professional, extremely experienced, safety conscious river team. Our raft trips are perfect for Families and groups traveling together.
All transportation to and from your lodging and the river is private. Your family, friends and you will have our boathouse to yourselves assisted by our river team to get you suited up for your rafting trip.
All of our 2-hour and 4-hour raft trips in Denali take place on the Nenana River. The Nenana River is a glacially fed river that makes up the eastern boundary of Denali National Park. As we say above, we can customize your raft trip as a scenic float, or “less splashy”, or a more adventurous, “more splashy” paddle through white water depending on the interest, abilities and dynamic of your group.
An exclusive raft trip or river experience is a way for a family of varying ages and abilities to do something exciting and adventurous together. There is nothing quite like moving at the speed of water on a glacially fed river in the Alaska Range on the boarder of Denali National Park.
We want each family or each group of friends traveling together to have the experience of having the river to yourself as move through Denali’s wilderness. We customize our start times so we are not on the river at the same time as the larger commercial operators.
