Denali-based guide position:
Traverse Alaska seeks applicants for professional wilderness guide positions. We are looking for individuals that are highly adaptable, flexible, respectful, empathetic, creative, and interested in growing with the company both personally and professionally. The Wilderness Guide will serve as a point person for trip logistics from start to finish, including outreach to locals and visitors to Denali, communication with clients, planning routes, managing trip gear and vehicle needs, running solo day and multi-day trips with clients, post-trip cleanup and debriefing.
Must be highly organized, self-motivated, willing to work variable hours, and to pitch in to any task as assigned. Must enjoy working with diverse people in beautiful settings, cultivating their curiosity for adventure. Competitive pay and creative benefits.
Passion for Alaska and a desire to share all that it has to offer is essential! Based in Denali, however travel around Alaska possible.
Requirements: Must have year-round experience in Alaska.
-Wilderness First Responder and Swiftwater Rescue Training (or willingness to go through trainings prior to starting position)
-Excellent driving record
-Prior guiding experience desired, but not required

Anchorage-based driver/guide position: Currently the available position is for part-time work.
